Carmen Suite

Overview

A film miniature set to classical music, inspired by Georges Bizet's "Carmen" suite, orchestrated by Rodion Shchedrin, animated in loose matter (colored salts) directly under the camera by Aleksandra Korejwo. The music is fully synchronized with the image. The film (first in a trilogy) tells the story of a gypsy caravan and Carmen's dreams of ideal love.
